Hosted by the FSIN Lands and Resources Secretariat, the Summit brings together First Nations leaders, Elders, Knowledge Keepers, youth, technicians, practitioners, educators, and partners from government, industry, academia, philanthropy, and the non-profit sector.

Summit discussions will include:

• First Nations water, land, habitat, and resource stewardship

• Food sovereignty, agriculture, soil health, and climate resilience

• Major projects, clean energy and emerging technologies

• Inherent and Treaty rights, legal personhood, and rights-based approaches to sustainability

• Youth leadership, Elder guidance, and intergenerational knowledge sharing

• Economic self-determination, partnerships, financing, and First Nation-led solutions

The 2026 program will feature keynote speakers, panel discussions, interactive sessions, and presentations on real initiatives already advancing change in First Nations and across broader regions and watersheds.
