Waterhen Lake First Nation Traditional Pow Wow

  • Waterhen Lake First Nations Pow Wow Grounds Waterhen Lake, Saskatchewan, S0M 3B0 Canada (map)

The Waterhen Lake First Nation Traditional Pow Wow is an annual gathering that brings people together to celebrate culture, kinship, and the enduring strength of community.

Over three days, guests can experience grand entries, traditional dance, specials, honour songs, and the vibrant energy that makes powwow season so meaningful across the prairies.

Visitors can look forward to a welcoming atmosphere with dancers and drummers from many communities, community meals, vendors, giveaways, and moments of recognition for veterans, families, and those who carry traditions forward. From the sound of the drum to the beauty of regalia in motion, each day offers something memorable for all ages.

Whether you are returning each year or attending for the first time, this event is an opportunity to gather respectfully, support Indigenous culture, and share in a celebration grounded in pride, generosity, and connection.
