3rd Annual Spring Crocus Walk

  • Nature Regina Regina Canada (map)

🌾Nature Regina is hosting its 3rd Annual Spring Crocus Walk at Regina’s new Biodiversity Reserve along Wascana Creek between Lewvan Drive and Sandra Schmirler Way. 🌸

🚶There will be free guided nature walks starting at 4pm, 4:30pm, 5pm and 5:30pm. Everyone is invited to come and celebrate Earth Day with us. This is a free come and go family-friendly event. 🌎

📍Meet on the East Side of the Caledonian Curling Club

In 2025 Regina’s City Council designated this area a biodiversity reserve. Come and celebrate this important step toward protecting this area. See how native plants are thriving on this rare patch of native prairie within the city limits!

In recent years, naturalists have found a stunning variety of prairie flowers and grasses at this site. It is a wonder how these native species have survived. The native prairie has the power to heal us and connect us to one another. Come and take a look. Step lightly on the land and let the prairie inspire you.
