Join SaskOrganics in Swift Current on Wednesday, November 26 from 1:00pm - 4:00pm for our first of two fall/winter farm club meetings in Southern Saskatchewan.
Dr. Myriam Fernandez will give a talk about various organic research projects being conducted at the SCRDC Organic Research Program, and then the remainder of the meeting is for producer sharing and networking. Coffee and refreshments provided.
Topics presented by the Organic Research program include: Intercropping, Living Mulch, Biocontrol of diseases of legumes and wheat, Cover Cropping and their impact on the following cash grain crop, Biological amendments, Growth of Durum vs. Common Wheat cultivars, and Participatory Plant Breeding.
Open to any producer interested in organic and low-input agriculture!
