Join the Black Birders Week Walk led by Joel Weatherly! His sincere love of and dedication to understanding all birds is captured in his photography - all the images used in these graphics are pictures he took! On the walk he’ll take great photos so we can have an unique view of these wonderful birds and others we’ll encounter on our adventure.

This event is open to everyone from all backgrounds - all are welcome!

On the walk you will learn about Laridae and how birds like these are able to migrate such far distances, and barriers for survival they may experience. We’ll be celebrating this week with @blackyouthassociationalberta and @videavictoria Beyond the River team, and @birdfriendlyedmonton.
