Join the River Valley Alliance for a leisurely morning walk across the stunning new Beaver Hills Bridge, the latest link connecting Edmonton and Strathcona County along the Amisk Wacîw Mêskanaw trail.
This relaxed walk, led by the RVA’s CEC Committee, invites participants to enjoy the scenic river views and early November atmosphere at their own pace—it’s not a race! You’re welcome to walk as far as you’d like before turning back, with everyone returning to the starting point by noon.
What to Bring:
Warm clothing and sturdy, non-slip footwear
A thermos of your favourite hot beverage and a small snack to enjoy
Curiosity and appreciation for one of the newest sections of the RVA trail
Please note that this event is weather dependent. If conditions are icy or wind chill is extreme, the walk may be postponed for safety reasons.
A portable toilet is available near the parking lot. Everyone is welcome—come experience the beauty of the river valley and the sense of connection the new bridge brings to our regional trail network.
