A Return to Hawrelak Park

  • River Valley Alliance 9330 Groat Road Northwest Edmonton, AB, T6G 2T5 Canada (map)

Join the River Valley Alliance’s Community Engagement Committee for our April walk, A Return to Hawrelak Park.

After being closed for three years for major upgrades, Hawrelak Park is reopening. This walk offers a chance to rediscover one of Edmonton’s most beloved river valley destinations and experience the newly updated spaces.

Participants will follow the trail around the periphery of Hawrelak Park, using both the natural trails and the newly completed multi-use path that now surrounds the park.

Distance: Approximately 5 km (easy pace)
Meeting Point: Outside the front entrance of the main pavilion
Parking: Main parking lot — please follow the path to the pavilion

Please arrive 15 minutes early to allow time to park and make your way to the meeting location.

If you can no longer attend, please cancel your spot using the link in your registration email. These walks often sell out, and this helps us offer your space to someone on the waitlist.

Please dress for the weather and wear comfortable walking shoes.
