Manitoba Organics is excited to team up with Dr. Joanne Thiessen Martens for our second summer!

This tour will highlight the important connections between phosphorus and nitrogen cycling, including the response of alfalfa to phosphorus additions in an alfalfa-grass green manure mix. Participants will see how phosphorus amendments can influence legume growth and, in turn, impact nitrogen fixation and availability within the system.
